This week we focus on the importance of creating a sense of identity for your preschooler. Diving into your family's "colorful" background is a wonderful way of helping your child construct his/her identity. You can do this by exploring family origins, foods you enjoy, or rituals that are unique to your family.
Play the song for your child, then ask them to remember as many items as they can that start with the letter C! Replay the song and see if they can name more the second time!

Reinforce the concept of patterns using M&Ms or Skittles! Start with an easy yellow-blue pattern and then work your way up to a more difficult red-blue-yellow pattern. Added bonus if you can introduce a red-yellow-blue-green pattern!
